NBA is too long

And these playoffs…. I mean the finals at this point are taking 2 1/2 weeks to finish. Don’t understand having 3 days between games.

Regular season needs to be cut down a little. At least .....First round needs to go back to 5 games ....crazy how long nba playoffs are

You know what's too long? The stupid NBA draft. Absolutely no reason for it to be a two day event. Yea... People are really going to tune in for the second round on day 2.

it depends. this should help with teams being able to make moves for day 2. last year was such a bad draft class you didn't see any action but maybe this year teams will have more time to talk and make things happen.

A lot of it has to do with NBA and NHL playing finals at the same time. I'm sure the networks don't want competing finals for major sports. It's really self-inflicted by both leagues. I'm sure there's a petty backstory

At no time in a basketball season is a team playing 7 games in 9 days with two or three travels in the stretch
Ideally a 7 game Finals should take 15 days

I don't know if this is a crazy take but I wouldn't mind seeing some playoff back to backs. Obviously not when venue is being changed, but I think it would make for some interesting scenarios.

I don't mind the breaks as much, want to see both teams at their reasonable best. Great series, just don't care to much for ABC/ESPN broadcasts.
