Bunting for a hit would have been a nice try. I don’t agree with the complete sacrifice bunt in that situation.

Sure it’s dumb. Frey can’t pop out. He either has to hit it deep or on the ground to the right. Strike out or k are the bad options. If he is your 2 hole hitter, you expect better. He just missed it, but he isn’t a guy you bunt in the first.
