If only we had the technology to get rid of umpires calling balls and strikes.

I am torn on this. I want better umpiring, but I don't want to see robots call balls and strikes. To me, it would take away from the purity of the game. Sure, use it to grade umpires like the MLB, but not let it actually "call" the game.

Eaux, Instant replay hasn't taken away the purity of football, baseball, tennis, etc. In fact, with the number of calls overturned, it's made it clear that many Super Bowl/World Series champions probably wouldn't have even made the big game (Looking at you LA Rams vs Saints).
I get the sentiment, but am just ready to get it right every time rather than have humans be so inconsistent, and I agreed with you until the last few years. Tech gets it right. let's use it.
