That's a one pitch one spot situation and he took a undisciplined swing. Now instead of a freshman on a four pitch walk they're in the dugout. Don't get that

I don't mind it. Already 2 runs in and you figure you're getting a fastball over the plate in that count and situation.
I honestly think hitters should be green lit more on 3-0 counts, especially in college

Hes good enough when he's expecting fastball.
Jones is a very good fastball hitter. I don't mind giving him the green light in that situation.

Green light is fine, but one has to sit on a pitch in order to swing. Jones is not selective in knowing when to swing. Wonder if he sees well and can pick up the spin on a pitch???
