The resolution to this movie was so fricking stupid. In no world would Julianne Moore just be cleared of everything that quickly. Like the cops could subpoena her electronic devices where she has searched the name of the dead boy and how deep the lake that she dumped his body in. Additionally, they would also have access to her daughter’s text exchanges that states in writing that she dumped that body. Additionally, the flashback to them, retrieving the body at the bottom of the lake was absurd in its own, right

It’s like whoever wrote this movie, just got lazy and was like yeah that’s a good enough ending

I didn’t even make it an hour before turning it off, Apple missed the mark on this one. Also, I think that’s the first thing I’ve watched with Sydney Sweeney. What am I missing when it comes to her? People talk about her like she’s the next big thing, I guess I missed it.

That’s literally all it is with her. Her boobs. She’s not a good actress.

Cops are lazy and they want an arrest and conviction. They had plenty of evidence on that dude. They weren’t going to keep investigating to see if maybe it was someone else.

SPOILERS below

My wife and I just watched this movie. We had the same thoughts as the OP that Google searches and texts should have been bad news for Julianne Moore and Sidney Sweeney, and also that finding and retrieving the body in the lake was a stretch. Plus saving the horses when the barn was in full blaze was pretty risky and unlikely. It was clever setting up the bad guy. However we both thought the movie was just okay. I would give it a 6 out of 10.

I turned it off after like 20 mins. It felt like I was watching a bad Lifetime movie.

At face value it was a decent flick. Didn't get too serious and everything was wrapped up at the end.

Of course there are flaws if you nit pick, but the wife and I enjoyed it for what it was. 7/10

And it's not just that she has that body, it's that she gets it, and she wants to show it to you.
