“Federal Judge Re-enacts CA Mandate”
Posted on 6/12/25 at 11:41 am to Hback
I'm all in...
but how does this work? Is it because Cali having the mandate has a terrible knock-on effect for other states? Interstate Commerce?

Some of these posts read more like gimmicky Hollywood gossip comments than political comments.
Convinced that some dudes, especially around here, follow politics in the same way that women follow celebrity gossip, and politics essentially celebrity gossip for some dudes, which is woman-like. They'd much rather read about spats and back and forths than they would policy and governance.

i have a hard time seeing how he can do this, but I dont know enough about the EV mandate to say it doesn’t fall under interstate commerce in some way.

1. Care to address the actual point of the thread?
2. I think this is due in large part to social media and the need for engagement for posts (in any social media platform) to get views/shares. “Boring” and deep political conversations do not really mesh with this type of environment (for better or worse.)

Um.. is this not policy and governance related? Methinks you posted in the wrong thread.

Watched all of it.
Had the CEO of Hess speak, along with other special interest reps.
Destroyed windmills and “wind energy.”
Then basically said that illegals working for farmers and hotels can stay. Dammit.

California needed approval/waiver from Federal level to do this. Biden admin approved. Trump is just rescinding that waiver….

Wait until a judge with a tiny hat in an obscure part of the country chimes in.

If it works, he needs to override the CA water flow rate mandates for plumbing fixtures.

If tweet fails to load, click here. They’re already suing him over this. There is nobody stopping them from buying EVs. It’s just not being enforced Orwellian style. Hahahahahahahahaha
