It is 100% what we voted for. I have no clue who bought her out. Seems pretty stupid to claim it isn't exactly what he said he was going to do. Did she not see Tom Homan before the election?

If Cubans were affected by any changes to immigration policy, that’s it.
She has to stand up for them in Miami obviously for reelection.
She can say this and outlast Trump and count on that calculus working long term.

No clue as to why. However, I will say that with the impending gubernatorial election in 2026, and Desantis being a lame duck, everyone is jockeying for political power.
Many people who live in Florida have warned that Florida isn't "as conservative" as it purports to be. It takes a strong governor and political climate to maintain it, and it could very easily fall back into the purple state category in just a few election cycles.

1) Frick up just one major hurricane response and watch what happens. 2) If the state doesn't do something about windstorm insurance, yeah there will be issues.
That provides the opening, and if there is a major economic downturn, that is all it takes.
