Why not 10-20k troops to L.A.?

Seriously?
I commend Trump for sending in NG and Marines quickly but it appears like he’s only sent in a couple thousand.
These protesters know they won’t shoot them as that would be disastrous optics for the nation.
So you need to overwhelm them and have enough bodies to break it up without lethal violence.
Roll in tanks and have 20k troops and start cuffing anyone outside. You won’t need to shoot and take lives.

The NG is there to protect the Federal buildings. The Marines aren't there yet, and it doesn't look like they've actually been deployed.
