Tremors Rewatch

Ok…. It’s been awhile.
As much older than the last time I saw it, find it hard to believe that Kevin Bacon was seen as more of a heartthrob than Fred Ward.
First think is Rhonda should be furious with them when she first meets them. They slam on their breaks with her not that far away.
And it’s crazy Kevin Bacon looks disappointed in Finn Carter. She’s smoking in this movie

It’s crazy they had a grad student working in the middle of no where by herself.

Nope. My roommate in Houston that went to Rice was getting a master's in geology and he had to spend summers by himself in the middle of nowhere in Nevada.
It really messed with his head spending weeks without seeing another human being.

That’s…. Disconcerting.
How the hell did they get the body off the tower?
Why didn’t the grabboids eat all the at the sheep farm

Great movie and one of my favorites. My best friend and I growing up always watched this movie any time we spent the night at each other’s house. I can quote damn near the whole thing.
I introduced it to my five year old not long ago and he loved it. Had to mute some language at times though, and he was probably a little young for it. But he did really like it a lot.
The sequels are trash, but the OG holds up really well IMO.

Don’t you dare disparage Tremors 2

It’s the best of the batch (or the ones I’ve seen…I think I have gotten through the first 4 maybe). But it’s still not very good at all.

Tremors 2 is great. In a lot of ways it’s better than the original

Well, she did have that white sunscreen stuff on her nose when he first sees her.

Which is adorable
The doctor’s wife’s death is uncomfortably brutal for the rest of the movie
Melvin is very lucky he didn’t get his head shot off
Poor horse

Has one of the best one liners in all of film:
We plan ahead..that way we don’t have to do anything right now…Earl was telling me about it.

Rhonda’s logic is a little… wonky “they’re not in the fossil record so they must predate the fossil record.”
What?
What?

“So… hey, we just do g vibrate right “
“She’s ok, I saw her playing down the street”
We deserve Melvin to be eaten
Man, Rhonda being in her underwear meant to much to 10 year old m
Are Nestor and Nancy a thing?
A lot of Pepsi product placement. Eww

I didn’t see tremors until it started showing up on USA/TBS later on. It’s a really good movie that I will stop and watch when it’s on.
