May I Present Today’s Darwin Award Winners:

The group of people hanging around by the pool at my apartment during a severe weather advisory. It is currently raining hard, with thunder and lightening. Yet, they won’t leave. They’re being loud and obnoxious as well, so I don’t even think it’s worth contacting the apartment office to have them removed for their own safety. They want to frick around, then they will find out.

That guy fishing wasn’t hit by lightning at least not like you see a tree or pole hit with a bolt
I’ve been fishing when a storm was blowing up and the air gets charged and your rod will hum if you pick it up towards the sky
He got a nice shock from the charged air when the lightning flashed but he wasn’t directly hit. If he was, the video would have been nothing but white light when it hits
