Since 2000, last 24 years, an SEC team has made it to the finals 18 times.

Only 6 times in the past 24 years has the finals not included an SEC team.

5 times it’s been two SEC teams against each other in the finals.

Pretty impressive.

23 SEC teams have made it to the finals in the last 24 years. That's nuts. I don't feel like 2 will make it this year.

The only way its possible is if Auburn makes it out of its SR.

10 different teams also.

LSU, Vandy, South Carolina, Miss State, Arky, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Name another conference that comes close.

Especially if you consider that Texas and Oklahoma are in their 1st year, and Mizzou has only been in the conference for roughly half of that 24 years.

Kentucky may get there eventually, they're a perennial post-season team.

Auburn could get there this year.

Alabama was on it's way before the coach went stupid betting.

Off the top of my head, not counting Texas and Oklahoma (who have both reached the finals in these years), I’d say Kentucky, Missouri, Alabama and Auburn.

Of those, Bama has made the finals twice (1983, 1997) and Mizzou 4 times in the 50s and 60’s before they were in the SEC.

So UK and Auburn have never made it to the finals.

2 of those times have been the previous 2 championship series. Also LSU was a part of 2 of the 5

13-6 brother! Never let Bama live that shite down! They don’t let us live down our losses against them. I use to have a framed copy of the front page of the sports section of the Times Picayune, until Katrina decided she wanted it more than me.

Nope. It doesn’t work that way.

You don’t get to back-count teams that were not in the SEC at that time. They were Big 12 teams at that time.

I saw someone trying to say that the 2007 & 2008 Big 12 Championship Games in football between Oklahoma & Missouri were SEC matchups. That’s retarded.

I hate when people do that shite.

Dang man I hate that for you and that you had to go through that nightmare. I’ve heard some pretty bad stories from some of the people I’ve met that was affected by Katrina.
