That prob would not pass

I'd vote for it, but I'm in the minority in this country.

That last one is utter horseshite and buys into the fricking lie that tax cuts have to be "paid for"

It’s a good plan.
Would never happen because the GOP Congress is in on the grift and it doesn’t enrich them or give them more power/security.

But how does the stated goal of 2% inflation get met with that kind of underspending?

Spending cuts? Eliminating pork?
Boy, the New Republican Liberal Trump Cult is not going to like this one bit!

Unfortunately both sides of the aisle are completely addicted to pork.

We should elect Massie president after Trump and see how successful he is at walking his talk.

You think cutting spending at the same time we cut taxes is a bad idea just because you want to make some sort of rhetorical victory?

He’d at least fight for fiscal responsibility and attempt to follow through on promises for the same, which is more than we can say for the current guy.

I have no issue with gutting spending. But tax cuts do not need to be "paid for" and i object to any statement that accepts that premise

I already suggested electing him. You don't have to defend your support.

Well for me if that's the excuse they need in order to cut spending I'll taking the spending cuts along with the tax cuts any day of the week.

That pork funds a lot of bloated salaries that pay big mortgages.

So he's against 4.9 Trillion in cuts to the deficit?
Posted on 6/6/25 at 1:11 pm to Seldom Seen
This is why he can’t be taken seriously, very little if any of that would ever pass and I would think he would support finishing the border wall and hiring more border patrol but I don’t even think he knows what he supports

We in fact should.

I see it as mandating spending cuts which are not popular, to get tax cuts which are.
It incentivizes politicians to actually seek cuts or their opponents pointing at their refusal to cut taxes.
