I'm not from LA and this year is the first year I've heard of them. Are they a powerhouse year in year out? How would they do in a 5 game series against the Juco national champions or High School All American team? I'm sure they are similar to William Carey/Belhavin in Mississippi

LSUS has been a good baseball power for decades. They used to play a lot of OOC games against very upper tier D2 teams in the old Gulf South Conference, and routinely beat them pretty easily.

So if they are smoking conference champ type DII teams. Then they're probably on the level of a good D-1 AA type of program.

They should get a Whitehouse visit invite. Not that the winning the NAIA national championship is a big deal, but that they went undefeated is an incredible accomplishment in baseball at any level. The level of start to finish focus and effort is hard to describe.

It's happening.

The LSU Shreveport (LSUS) Pilots Baseball team has been officially invited to the White House following their unprecedented 59-0 season and 2025 NAIA Baseball National Championship title. The invitation came Monday afternoon during a surprise phone call from United States Speaker of the House Rep. Played for the 2004 team that went to the World Series. Willam Carey and Bellhaven were in our conference back then.

If you played you'd know it was 2003 team, not 2004
