I don’t understand why republicans don’t vote and act in uniform without questioning

I voted as a radical free thinking conservative for destruction of the deep state and the defunding of the government. I voted for people who uphold my values. Why don’t they vote lock step without thinking for every single platform Trump mentions?
Why isn’t Trump championing radically different causes than he did his first 4 years?
I don’t understand why congressmen who have been in office for decades aren’t suddenly voting against their own self interest instead of voting with the PACs and interests they’ve been a slave to since they get in office.
Why aren’t we more like the democrats?

Because you're supposed to represent your citizens, not your party.

Questioning and debating is healthy. Purposefully deceiving about the benifits and lying about the “cost” is where certain republican factions are.

It's a fundamental difference in ideology. Socialists emphasize the importance of cooperation and mutual aid as values whereas conservatives value individualism.

Many are kid touchers, on video. Many slept with people who are not their spouse, on video. Many took boxes full of cash as bribes and kickbacks from USAID money and Ukraine money.
They will vote as they are told to or lose their gig and possibly go to prison.
