Which decade was the “coolest”?

In terms of dress, style, autos, etc. I’ve got to go with the 70s. The 80s were a very fun decade. In fact, I definitely had more fun in the 80s. But people certainly weren't “cool“ looking. Sort of cringy looking back at it. I’d put the late 50s early 60s as a second for me.
Edit: early 70s
And yes, 50s for automobiles

Didn’t even think of that. But that is so true.

The decade when each kid was a pre teen…. I think the 80s were, but it’s all relative.

the 60's were cooler than the 70's. Men wore goofy looking clothes in the 70's. Music a push.

50s
Closely followed by the 80s

Better make that early 70’s, probably the worst decade for cars, then the 8O’s… Thanks to regulations…

shite got wild in the 80s and technology was in the early stages of becoming cool.

Agree. I know things changed in the 70s just like any other decade. But that’s what I was referring to really.

“The fifties were boring. The sixties rocked. And the seventies—oh my God, they obviously suck. Come on! Maybe the eighties will be radical.”

As far as coolest, you have to go with the 60 and 80s…
70’s were awesome, but after the early 70’s, it went down hill till the 80’s.

I bet the 15,360s BC was pretty cold.

The 80's had the fad of the big-haired women. They were also quite generous in their views of sharing.

You can have your own opinion on when fashion was the best, but 1950s cars were objectively far worse than cars today.
One of the oddest yet most widespread historical myths is some idea that the 1950s were some lost golden age that had a higher standard of living than today. You could easily live a 1950s middle class lifestyle on minimum wage today, but that would be called living in poverty today. Well, actually, you couldn't live a 1950s lifestyle today since your house would get knocked down under modern health and safety laws, but that just further proves my point. Honestly, the standard of living in the 1950s was closer to the standard of living during Jesus' time than it was to today's standard of living.
Something like fashion is a bit more subjective, but in anything remotely objective like the quality of cars, things are now much better than they were during Eisenhower's presidency.

You can take your opinion and objectively shove it up your arse.
