Jacob Melton was called up on the middle of the night to replace Zack Dezenzo (left hand discomfort)

Didn’t ZD hurt his hand sliding home earlier this year? Wonder if they didn’t bother to X-ray it? (Not sure it’s the same hand)

I’m not a medical professional, but they should probably check to see if it is broke

Until he's broken and not properly treated medically, let's get somewhat excited about how Jacob Melton was swinging the bat (LEFT HANDED) in AAA:

Jake gets his first day off in a month. We're stuck with Dubon though (Brown pitching so expected).

3 pitches. 3 batters. So frustrating

ETA: 4 pitches. 4 batters. But 1 run so I’ll take it. Still dumb

4 for 4, and COCKSUCK makes it 1-0.

5 for 5, inning over.

Amazing.

He's going to see a ton of offspeed until he proves he can handle it.

His and Jose's shitstain at bats have not helped the cause today.

E-Sock needs a day off after the day off.

Silly of me to expect the top of our lineup to generate a run when you have 1st and 3rd with no outs

I think we’ve scored 1+2+3+1=7 runs in this four game series. This is who we are without a healthy Yordan. If our bullpen continues to trend to their talent level, expect a precipitous decline.
