What happened here? The kid get th yips or something? I get a place kicker not working out but I feel like punting should be fairly easy to translate from HS to college.

What a bust he's been. We were so spoiled with Von Rosenburg. He could have even played 1 more year but it seemed like he left early to make way for Peyton Todd, who was supposed to be some phenom.

Vet School is difficult to enter. If accepted to LSU Vet School, football is discarded-as it should be-and never look back.

Well, he sure as hell wasn't productive on the field, so the writing was on the wall.
Free up a roster shot and let him go be a vet, where he may excel.

I dont have many West Monroe connections these days, but that is what I was told. Why did LSU stick with him?

Peyton's dad (Hunter Todd) was a phenomenal athlete at Crowville High School back in the mid-90's. They went undefeated in the regular season one year. Tragically, in 2012, he was shot and killed one night, when Peyton was just a young kid.
If Peyton is accepted to Vet school as mentioned, it sounds like he is ready to move on from football and establish his own path in the world in a great way. I wish him well.
