Anyone play Wilson? I like the look of them.
Also; what do you look for when buying brands other than titlest, etc.

The best ball for the price are Snell 4.0 Golf Balls

I tried the Triads recently. I liked them, mygolfspy said they were similar to the pro v1 in characteristics. I was looking for a cheaper option…. Used to get ProVs through work for cost.
Greenside spin is good and not too spinny off the driver. Stops well with irons. Considering they are almost $20 less than the ProV
Also like the Maxfli balls as well.

Urethane cover.
Titleist has the best QC and the best marketing, but other manufacturers are making really fine golf balls.
High end
Titleist: ProV1/ProV1X/AVX
Taylor Made: Tp5/TP5X
Callaway Chrome Tour/Chrome Soft/CSX
Srixon Z Star
Moderate cost:
Taylor Made Tour Response
Srixon Q star tour
Wilson Tour(can’t remember name)
Budget
Maxfli tour Options

I tried out the Bridgestone RX and like it. Golfballs.com had a sale on for 29 a dozen and loaded up

I frequently play the Kirkland Signatures They seem to stay in play for me and have nice green side feel. Vice Pro Plus’s seem to have an extra 15-20 off the tee than the Kirkland’s and also are solid balls.
I’ve also got a ton old school pro v1’s, 1x’s and high end Nike balls that I use from time to time.
Kirkland’s and Vice Pro Plus’s seem to go straighter and survive much longer for me though. As soon as I take a high end ball out, it seems to find the trees or water within 3 holes. Could be a mental thing, or perhaps they just have the ability to sidespin a bit too much.

For a long time all I played was Wilson 50’s. Soft feel and will spin. I still have a dozen or so and should probably play them when I get tired. Best secret to me is TM Rocketballz.
