Don’t overthink this.

No, do not start Kade or Anthony or Shores or Evans.

The pitcher that makes the most sense to start is none other than…William Schmidt.

#9 Cur Dog Up Baby.

Just pump 95 MPH down the pipe and have that big bender working. 11-12Ks easy.

So dumb. If we were playing a little league team first game, would he waste Anderson?

So you want to not start either of your best pitchers and run the risk of one of them not pitching at all should we lose Friday? If JJ did that you people would lose your shite

Doesn’t need to be. You just need to pay attention. Jay threw the best pitcher to grace college baseball against Tulane garbage arse in 2023. Why do you think he did that?

We’re not gonna go 0-2 because one of the two starters WILL pitch Friday.

We are matched against the worst team in the tournament, with a losing record. We should be able to beat them easily with Noot or Shores. If they get in trouble early (doubtful), they get yanked. Staying in the winner's bracket, we'll probably see DBU twice and Anderson and Eyanson will mow them down. On to the Supers.

It’s as if Skenes vs Tulane with a losing record in 23 with Jay at the helm never happened…

I’m betting Eyanson Friday to get the LHP matchup vs DBU, but odds are it’s going to be one of the two aces to keep them fully on schedule for the following week.

I haven’t watched DBU, but the one game I saw they struggled against a lefty (Connor Ware). That seems to line up with why CJJ has them both available. They have some pretty impressive averages in their lineup but I have no clue how they do vs righties or lefties.

With that said I don’t think it’s a lock that Anderson pitches against Little Rock but I think it’s absolutely a lock that it’s either Anderson or Eyanson.

So. If you pitch Anderson on Saturday instead of Friday, then he has to come back in a Super on 6 days rest instead of his usual 7.

Just say you haven’t paid attention the last 4 years. Skenes started against Tulane. He was on regular rest for the supers. Same will happen this year. If you don’t start Kade you risk messing up his rest and he’s a top 5 pick. Ain’t happening.

If you win the first 2 games in a regional, you only need 1 more win..3 total. If you lose one of the first 2 games, you have to win 4 games total. Winning the first 2 games is essential, which means Jay will most likely go Kade/Anthony.
