What is the definition of "Industry Ranking"?

Realize this will now change because of the merger

The On3 Industry Ranking weights the primary recruiting media services based on past performance data, and overall scouting and recruiting coverage investment. For football, the algorithm is weighted as follows: On3 (35%), 247Sports (35%), Rivals.com (20%) and ESPN (10%).

what's the point of this? we're celebrating a recruiting ranking in May?

Some of us like to keep up with recruit rankings as players are constantly evaluated

Hey Skip, basically they did a little bit of changes to rankings and they’re changing the format

What’s our chances with drew Evers? Saw we made his top 6 and okay, but I haven’t heard much other than that.

Initial reaction is the same as yours haven’t had him mentioned at all. Seems like ahead of the table, but I’ll look into it..

“Adopt the 100 point scale” - thank goodness. I never could understand Rivals’ previous scoring system
“each weighted equally at 33.333%” - this is the perfect opportunity to either get rid of ESPN in their formula, or, as they did before, only weigh them at 10%. No way they should have equal weight. In fact, they have more than they did before the merger. This is actually going in the wrong direction with their composite

Holy cow! How does USC already have 26 commitments? I know many of them won’t stick, but that’s still crazy!

Giving ESPN equal weight in their rating system seems like a terrible idea.

Worn out, used up, copy and paste whores like you should know the rules: there's a right way and a wrong way to do things.
But like a transgender hooker, you don't know the top from your bottom.
You crack-addled recruiting addicts feel the need to regurgitate any recruiting tidbit you can find, and I suppose that sort of posting promiscuity means nothing to someone like you, Captain, who posts useless recruiting rankings and irrelevant visits with the frequency of a cheap ham radio.
Instead of whoring your reputation like your rectum, try using the CORRECT recruiting rankings:
