It came from Germany and Great Britain and the eastern establishment of the United States
It's not my job to teach you why and how. It's your job to live the rest of your life learning why and how.

Marxism was going on in 1790s France over 50 years before Karl Marx gave it a name.

It came from Jews.

Columbia University inherited the Frankfurt School when they fled Germany in the 30s.
Columbia has always been a haven for radical leftists.

It came from France in the late 1700’s. There were philosophical antecedents, but that’s where it really hit mainstream. The French revolution, with its slaughter of the nobility and rejection of the ancient regime, led to the Russian Revolution and Lenin.

The pilgrims tried a communal style economy when they first arrived. Soon after they came to realize not everyone would pull their weight. They ended up dropping it and became every family for themselves.

I don't necessarily disagree with adding the perpetrators of the French Revolution into the mix, but it's like adding Boise State into the playoffs.

Actually some bored trust fund Jews in Russia whom harbored REAL hatred and contempt for the Christian communities that raised, protected and educated them gave birth to modern day communism.
But hey, it's just not appropriate to notice how Communism as we know it today was originally legitimatized because the founders of the ideology successfully usurped an entire Nation via systematically holocausting tens of millions of their fellow Christian countrymen. Everyone by now should understand that dwelling on unhappy inconvenient historical facts can be harmfully racist or something like that.
