You might finally be able to score with your HS crushes since a lot of their husbands are dead

Are you better than them now? If so, go and rub it in all of their stupid old faces.

I’d go just to see who I outlived, and laugh.

I went to 35 and it sucked. I went to 45 and it sucked. I will go to 50, but I already know it will suck. HS sucked, so I don't know why I ever thought the reunions would be any better.

Why does this seem to be a reemerging thread? How many grown arse men need to ask the internet if they should go to their reunion or not?

Yeah, dress like you did when you were in high school in the 20s or whatever and mock their oldness.

Call them stuff like "Grandpa" and "the Widow McGillicutty".

Spike the punch with Metamucil.

Go!

The little hottie you had that crush on probably won't be little anymore and no longer a hottie.

Don't worry, the guy that used to give you a wedgie may be too old to do it again.

better idea, volunteer as a bartender at the event under an assumed name

make up elaborate and fantastic causes of death for all the absentees and casually mention them to your classmates

if someone asks about why you aren’t there, say “i’m sorry, but i’m under a Federal gag order not to reveal the circumstances of his demise”

Will go and spend a couple of hours more than likely, just to see how many I have outlived

I’ve had an absolute blast at my class reunions. I even had a good time at my wife’s class reunion and she was from another state.

Every one I go to I end up chatting with someone I didn’t know well in high school and end up having a great time.

For those of us who enjoyed high school, the 50-year reunion was great. Time has a way of evening the playing field. All the big studly jocks and wimpy nerds somehow made it to the same phase--grown-arse people with aging bodies and a better appreciation of life's ups and downs. I talked to some people at the reunion that I never did in high school. It was enlightening. Just surviving till the 50th is a great accomplishment.
