Hour 24, fricking sucks cause I can't fall asleep. I'm used to having a nice big meal and then knock out an hour or so after.

Cant do it now. I think I'm getting irritable. I'm sure once I get some sleep and wake up and will feel very good, but ATM this is sucky

You think you are getting irritable or are you irritable?

It’s really one or the other, you are the Captain.

Thanks,man.

I'm sure I can do it, but I'm starting to question actual benefits of it cause I gotta do some hard work tomorrow but I guess I could get by on a couple of Celsius and some coffee with creamer.

I thought I was, the real hunger rush I got about an hour ago seems to have passed.

I have no problem not eating for 1-2 days when I'm stressed out or not well, but it's something else to not eat when you feel fine and relaxed, get these uncomfortable hunger rushes it seems.

Doing 3 Day Fast

I really don’t understand this or why people would make themselves miserable trying to do it.

Yeah....and for HGH optimization and to help your gut and your body heal up by letting it take a break from digestion.

You're not miserable full time is only in spurts and since this is my first run I'm sure it'll get better. Most people who completed it say they feel great after. Plus it's a quick way to drop a couple of pounds, that's never bad unless you're a toothpick or have a health issue that prohibits you to do that.

Kinda like working out, in a sense. No pain, no gain. That strain and discomfort is when you get the most benefit.

The hardest fast us the first one. You'll be quite uncomfortable for several hours while your body switches from burning glucose to ketones. No way around that. However, each fast afterward is something you have knowledge about and can handle. Try to keep busy with lots of small chores to take your mind off of it.

Thanks for the tips. I need to get some sleep. I know after I sleep my night hunger is a distant memory.

That you gain right back as soon as you start to eat again.

I did it last year. A little easier after 36 hours.

Sometimes you do things just to see if you can do them. A cycle like this goes back to our ancestral roots. Kill something, eat grand. Don’t kill something, you might go hungry awhile. Exercise with sprints or short bursts of high energy. Primal.

I’ve lost 26 lbs by just cutting my portions in half and exercising about an hour a day 5 days a week.

Granted it took me about 3 or 4 months but I developed good habits and I can run a 12 minute mile.

Years ago I dropped 40 pounds doing the 3 day. It's a struggle but you can do it. It's a great mental exercise for you as well as the physical benefit.

This isn’t cheating?

I’ve never done a 3 day, but I’ll do zero calories for 24 hours fairly regularly.

I just drink a ton of water.

Gotta keep yourself busy and drink a LOT of water. Tea or coffee helps too.

I'd avoid artificial sweeteners or cream it will just make things worse. The other thing is that if you "cheat" you're not fasting anymore you're just starving yourself.

I've done it before and once you get past the first half of it you feel incredible.
