If he can hang in there long enough, while not tarnishing his reputation, he'll have a chance at what looks to be the best class to ever grace new orleans in memory
(from 'hoop scoop' via the times pic.)

Sydie London 6'4" (st. aug) top small forward
in the nation and 4th best freshman
Javan Felix 5-10" (st. aug) top PG in nation
and 7th best freshman
Ricardo Geathers 6'7" (reserve christian) Top
Center in the nation and 3rd best freshman
Joel Pichon 6'0 (Holy Cross) 7th best SG

Malik Morgan 6'1 (curtis) the best shooter

and even
brad bridgewater's lil brother who is a totally dominant man child as a 6'5" 220lb. eigth grader at Episcipol

Unreal amount of talent if those projections end up being accurate.

If Trent works the area harder than Brady did, we should be able to land a few of them.

Looks promising, but much can happen in 4 years.

dude ratphuc's little brother, buhtphuc hobley, is a 5'3 power forward in the 3rd grade YMCA league and is absolutely dominating. Hopefully Trent can bring him in for an official next season

I've been waiting to see a 5 guard offense at LSU for years.

Thanks for the info, really good stuff. Would you by any chance have the link to that article? I'm having trouble finding it online.

they're freshmen in high school. there is a chance that a 14-15 year old will grow some more.

Yup, and apparently Trent has made some serious headway at Reserve Christian and the coach and players really have taken a liking to him. So hopefully we'll be on the inside for Gathers when his time comes.

Timmie and Ronnie Byrd are the coaches at Reserve Christian, and I have been assured by the coaches themselves, that they are impressed with Trent already.

Timmie was once a QB for LSu Football but later transferred to USM. Timmiw had a bad taste in his mouth for being passed over by Wickersham when Timmiw was promised an offense to suit his style of play.
LSU is now bridging the gap in this relationship.

Trent has attended 3 full practices at RCH where as Brady attended Zero. This is probably the best feeder school in Louisiana for Basketball.

Thanks
Gino

Corrections

Sydie London is 6'3, plays a small forward position at St. Aug. He is a very quick and smooth player that can shoot the 3 and will help bring St. Aug to amongst the elite in 5A again.

Javan Felix is one of the best PG's in the nation. He is 5'9" very strong and has a senior's body. If he can get to 6' he could be a McDonald's All-American.

Ricardo Gathers is 6'6" not 6'7. He is 225 lbs and is a a legit 14 year old until his birthday in a few weeks. He is the top post player in the country. Averaging 16 ppg and 14 rebounds and about 6 blocks a game.

Joel Pichon isn't on the level of these 3 players.

Gathers is the best freshman in the state. Next is Darryl Milburn who is sitting out at McKinley due to being a transfer. Milburn is 6'3" with a senior's body as well. He is very strong, can handle the ball, shoot the three, pass and defend. He is very good.

Cotton Valley in Shreveport area has a 6'9 freshman that is very good as well. Istrouma HS has Darius Johnson that is a very good freshman that is one of the best in the state along with Gervaughn McGhee at Redemptorist. The freshman class in Louisiana is loaded like the Junior class is this season.
