America's debt will actually be projected to be over $50 trillion in just ten years. If we know how Congress works, we can pretty much double that.

This is an eye-opening interview that both detractors and supporters of this bill should listen in on.

Clayton Morris and Thomas Massie detail and clarify the myths of this "Beautiful Bill" and truth of the matter. Set aside your pre-notions and wishful thinking for this 20 minutes.

Simply, we have been sold out far more than we've been told. Among some myths and misunderstandings, the GOP wouldn't include cuts from the DOGE savings because THEY THEMSELVES were also party to benefiting from the USAID $$$ laundry schemes.

IS this spending bill really an absolute train-wreck? Both Clayton Morris and Thomas Massie are flabbergasted and tell it like it is.

And here's another excellent interview and overview given by Rep. Thomas Massie on the "Big Beautiful Bill". Love 'em or hate 'em, Tom Massie is the ONLY Congressman reporting directly to the people.

quote:

In this in-depth interview, The New American’s Christian Gomez interviews Congressman Thomas Massie to discuss why he opposes President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” citing concerns over increased spending, unsustainable debt, and delayed reforms that may never happen.

Rep. Massie responds to President Trump’s latest criticism, highlights fiscal inconsistencies from Republican leadership, and outlines his legislative efforts — including bills to abolish the Federal Reserve and Department of Education, and a proposal requiring candidates for Congress to disclose dual citizenship.

The interview also covers trade sovereignty, the World Trade Organization, and the Freedom Index.

What did you think about Massie pointing put that the subsidies to the Green New Deal remain in the Big Beautiful Bill? Does that sound conservative to you?

As long as corporations can lobby and buy legislation to enrichen themselves in congress, there will never be any true cuts to spending. If a globalist like Rand or a 'conservative' like Massie were President, the results would be the same.

I don't love the bill and am one hundred percent on board with cutting spending. How do we knock all of our glorious results from "free trade" and their lobby armies from their well-worn perches suckling at the federal printing press? Until that gets answered, everything else is just noise.

The tariff don't bring in money they're a tax on imports which American businesses pay and then pass on to the consumer. The money comes out of the pockets of Americans and goes directly to the federal government. The same federal government that just spends and wastes whatever money it has.

We don't have a revenue problem we have a spending problem.

If you have a specific amount of tariffs collected and how they offset this budget, I’ll add that too.

That Warren Davidson graph reveals how ugly the back end of this bill is. The Congress and bureaucracy simply will not ever cut nor trim itself of Lobbyist $$$, early rigged stock tips worth millions, 3-figure jobs, bennies galore, and early retirement.

Rand Paul know the score as well.

The GOP is not serious about reducing the budget, or spending, OR being serious about much of anything. They may as well be cardboard cut-outs.
