Now the black community is claiming whites are to blame. That we should be hanging from trees(?!). Sorry, that’s not how democracy works.

The article says that ALEA is in charge of the investigation - just like they become involved in every fatality relating to police forces and various municipalities in Alabama, an odd arrangement.
It is similar to a state bureau of investigation. They also assist in non-violent crimes involving state municipalities, fraud, theft, etc. I have worked with them a couple of times.
It appears that the suspect pulled a gun on the ALEA agent - and there will almost certainly be body cam coverage.
It will also be interesting to see if the deceased was responsible for the earlier shooting.

Whites have become weak. I don’t know why other than the medias influence (from top to bottom). Blacks seeking justice for a man who robbed and then pulled a gun on an officer, only to blame whites and say it’s time for whites to be killed in retribution, it’s f ed up.

I don’t understand how anyone has a problem here, this stuff is not complicated. Don’t resist and pull a weapon on police and you probably won’t get killed.
