Worth it?
If so, which brands are the best?

Meh,
I have a few buddies that had their trucks coated. In reality it lasts about a year. Not willing to pay that much money for one year of water beading. I use a few products that last longer than my wash frequency, are very easy to apply, and they cost $10 a bottle per year.
Hell, Collinite wax lasts a few months, and after waxing my truck, my wife's SUV, and my boat twice per year, after 7 years I still have a half a bottle left.

Worth it?
Depends on which route you go.
Paying a detail shop several thousand dollars to do it? Not worth it IMHO.
If you can clean, decontaminate, correct, and apply the coating yourself? Definitely worth the time and materials IMHO.
I have used Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic coating with 2 cars with great results.
Like paint, it's all about the prep and getting the car ready for coating as it is semi-permanent.

Just put a nice wax on the car every 6 months.

Thanks for the replies, I was considering the Adam's product as well

Do NOT let a dealership do it. Look into carpro coatings. Adam's and ethos also have pretty good ones

Worth it probably depends on the vehicle and how you use it.
If I had a new luxury or sports car that wouldn’t be driven a ton, I’d probably get ceramic coating professionally done with something like CQuartz.
If it’s a daily truck/suv and something that might see off road use, probably not worth it. Just use a good durable wax like Collinite.
Either way you go, neither are coat it and forget it. For optimal durability you still need to do routine maintenance washes.

Cerakote Paint Sealant
This stuff is very good, very cheap and easy to apply.
You need to make sure your car/truck is absolutely dry, but you spray it on and wipe it off. Last for a year or more (on mine so far).
One bottle will do 2-3 cars/trucks

I bet their ceramic coating is "clogged." It happens and is often confused with wearing away. There are several easy ways to unclog a ceramic coating.
I agree with Collonite being a great product. Especially overtop of Jescar Powerlock. That said I'm not going back after putting ceramic on my cars.

Great product if done at reputable shop. I’m Baton Rouge area call H2O Auto Spa. They do a great job with reasonable pricing.

I've dealt with these dudes before and they are hit and miss.
They have really fricked up some people's cars with botched PPF jobs also.
Buyer beware....
