Staying in Riviera Maya and want to play at least once while I'm there. Where should I play? Not play? Club rentals available? Any advice is much appreciated.

PGA Riviera Maya (Tulum Country Club)

You won't be disappointed. Absolutely stunning beauty and excellent conditions.

Pretty sure they just had the Korn Ferry Tour out there a few weeks back.

Mayakoba or Playa Mujeres

These are the only two I've played and they are both pretty quiet but very well maintained. TBH, golf in Cancun is not the best. I think most courses only have 1 or 2 holes on the water and its either the green or tee box.

Well that's a little disappointing.

Fact! Water front is for the tourists. You’re going to play golf in the jungle. Honestly, don’t play. Go get a couple’s massage and play when you get home

DO NOT PLAY Cancun Country Club; very mediocre course.

Very fun course, highly recommend. Margs are strong so don't expect a great score

Played Moon Palace several times last year. Try and play the Lakes course. Played Gran Coyote last week and not worth the $250 green fee plus it was hot as hell.

I second this. The course amenities are really nice as well.

Bev cart prices were great which I was surprised to see after walking into that proshop.

Nice bar right next to the driving range and on the turn. Looked liked they had a pizza oven going as well.

Thought the greens fees were pretty steep but the course was in excellent condition.
