Would it be a stretch to say that most of their biologists are democrats?

Watching the la game warden ‘cops’ show, they really come off as pompous assholes.

I’d assume they’d have a deep passion for the outdoors being they work in it everyday.

I always wanted to be a game warden as a kid but I can’t handle tragic accidents and/or death.

I know a couple and they're all good ole boys.

Saying that you won't improve buck genetics in a wild herd by shooting spikes will get you labelled as a democrat on the LA deer hunting FB page so if that's the standard then yeah they're democrats.

A good friend was a biologist for LDWF and is definitely not a dem.

He told me about the two people who stole all the gear LDWF got with BP funds.

Who the heck believes shooting spikes will make the land have better genetics?

Well it seems to me the 7 over 12" rule on Crappie at Lake D'Arbonne is nuts. You have to work at catching fish under 12". We all know the democrats hate it that we might actually feed ourselves.

Can't speak for LA, but in GA I definitely get that feeling.

The biologists have very little pull within the department. Regulations are decided upon by the Commission that is made up of non-biologists. The biologists can give their research and opinions but ultimately it’s up to the Commission. So when 100 people gripe and complain that Darbonne could be Grenada lake the commission cavea to the loudest voices even though their biologists have stated the population is great up there

Well why would the commission not listen to reason? That sounds like democrats to me.

Thanks. I was guessing your question was due to the newly-expanded emergency CWD crisis zone.

Commission \= biologist

Commissioners in the last have been oyster baws, Miami Corp folk, and various other shall we say special interest groups

This is a difficult one. Unfortunately, in many circles (maybe this one) anything other than full-on “anything goes,” no limits, rape the land, gets labeled democrat-speak.

Conservation gets labeled liberalism, although hunters/sportsmen ARE conservationists.
