Do you know for a fact that New Orleans didn't try to resign him and he was like - no, I'm good? He was the one who declined the player option and the knicks deal came pretty quick. Even if New Orleans matched the deal, he was basically an unrestricted free agent and could go anywhere he wanted. He clearly likes NYC.

Do you remember why Randle even came here? To play with Tony who already decided to quit on a team that had Randle, Jrue, and Nikola Mirotic on the roster showed how big of a beta he was.

You guys take this stuff too personally. Players go where there is the best fit and best money. He got a better deal in NY. It was a mistake by us, to let him go for nothing. Especially when we traded for Favors to replace him. It worked out for him though. There shouldn't be any bad blood from either side. I love that he is shutting up all the haters this year though..
