It’s actually a bad thing that the hard hit balls we had went over the fence! And the runs we got from playing small ball weren’t enough! (Despite the fact that we’re 3x what the opposing team scored)

Been saying it all year. This team just can’t score. And we get people on base. No timely hitting. However, it only matters in June.

This pitcher had allowed 39 base runners in 16.2 IP in conference play coming in. There’s really no excuse not to score runs against this team. The game’s not over yet, so I’m still confident they can breakthrough, but if they don’t, there are no excuses.

This is obvious to anyone who has watched this team play this year.
Because they can’t win on the road, they may need to go on the road in the postseason to make Omaha.
