There is real reason for optimism with this team.
Young innovative HC, a new QB with actual stud measurables and infused young talent at all levels of offense and defense.
This is the first time since in post Brees era this team has finally given us something to be excited about.
This team will compete for the South.

While I do share some excitement and optimism it’s more for 2-3 seasons from now. I think next year will be a struggle as we lack a lot across both sides of the ball and there will be some qb growing pains.

Correct, there is now a light at the end of the tunnel, which is nice. It wasn't there before.
But the cap nightmare is ending soon (lol?), Carr is gone, new HC that seems smart and not a complete loser, young QBs, all of our future draft picks intact.

This is the most excited I have been for a season since Drew retired.
New coach. Rookie QB. Gonna be an interesting time. Can’t wait to watch the rebuild.

This. I’m extremely optimistic about the future while realizing the most probable scenario is a few years of struggling. The posters who feel the need to prop themselves up talking shite about the negative posters are as bad as said negative posters.

this i can agree with... it will take at least another good draft, where we hit on our middle round picks, as well as spending wisely for priority FAs before we can really expect this team to start being a factor in the NFL landscape again, but at least we have a more solid foundation than we did under Allen...
but make no mistake, we are nowhere close as of right now... sorry, we just ain't, and that's ok... as long as we are making good progress, and upgrading our roster, then we have hope for the future
