4 mistakes cost the game

2 out at third in one inning. I blame the third base coach.
2 dropped balls in right then left that should have been caught. I blame the players. One catch likely wins this game after the debacle at third.

Josh Pearson and Arrambide should never be out there with the game on the line

I understand you blaming the players. But coach ran Bras and did not motion slide to Curiel.

I’m trying to teach you that in that situation the player slides 100% of the time. The only thing he’s looking at third base coach for as if there is no play or stand up.
You’re approaching it completely backwards.

The one where Curiel did not slide is 99% on him. Don’t care what the coach is telling him to do you slide.

The coach was specifically telling him to stand up.

I’m trying to teach you that college players are taught to watch the coach and the replay show his motions and their reactions.

The ball is hit ahead of you and you’re at second. It’s obvious they are going to try to get you out at 3rd. It’s simple baseball to slide. Not hating on the kid a mental lapse happens, but it was definitely a mental lapse. The play everytime is to run as hard as you can to the bag and slide.

Watch the replay and watch the coach. He makes a safe standing up signal.

And I honestly didn’t see that so if that’s true then it’s also on him as blame for sure. With that said you still need to slide if you’re running to 3rd and the left fielder is fielding the ball as you’re making your turn.

No blaming the umps?
Bro could you try any harder. Several new threads and comments saying the same shite. It ain’t funny, let it go.

After rounding third Curiel quickly looks outfield then focuses on coach. He slows down near the back to stand up because of signal. The replay was shown. This one was on the coach.
The outfield plays on the players
It happens. One game. Let’s win the next two.
I support the pitching decision. Worth the gamble.

Braswell’s slide at third was something a ten year old little leaguer would be embarrassed by. Not on the coach. Curiel not sliding is indefensible, though I’m not sure if Jordan signaled him to slide or not. Bottom line those two mistakes cost us at least two runs. The difference in the game.
