Can anyone give me a clue of how long the grad ceremonies last, particularly the College of Science? Want to gauge if I should even try to rush over from my high school senior's graduation to my college grad's graduation at the PMAC. The LSU ceremony starts at 5 and my HS grad's ceremony starts at 6 tomorrow evening.

You will sit for 3-1/2 to 4 hours if you arrive early for good seats.

Half that if after walking across the stage, she keeps on walking out the doors and not back to her seat.

ETA Bonus: You can then get to WalkOns and beat the rush.

Two graduations in one night? You'll have to change your custom t-shirts with your kids' names on them between ceremonies. And be sure to bring 2 air horns.

Depending on your college grad's name, you could probably watch your high schooler graduate and still make it in time for the LSU ceremony. I feel like my graduation lasted 3 hours

I am not missing the hs graduation. I am trying to see if I can make it rom the HS grad to LSU in enough time to see her walk across the stage.

Yeh this is what I was afraid of. Whoever decided to do graduation on the same night as LSU is dumb.

Go to the high school one.

I skipped both of my LSU graduations.

My graduation seemed to go on forever. However, you are not going to realistically get done with the HS graduation for at least a couple of hours. I would not plan to go to the actual LSU graduation ceremony.

However, there is always a lot of hanging around outside of the facility after the LSU graduation (which is actually the first time you see your graduate anyway). You may be able to make the loitering session and go to eat with everyone or something.

Damn that's a terrible predicament to be in. Holy shite, I can't imagine. No fricking way you'll see both unless your LSU grad's name is one of the first ones called then you high tail it out of there asap to the high school grad's ceremony and they're one of the last ones called. If same last name, though, holy shite. You're gonna have to pick a favorite kid unfortunately.

Hopefully the other one understands.

Edit:
On second thought, attend the LSU graduation and say it's because your household's expectation is that your children go to and graduate from college. Everyone graduates from high school (well not everyone but your expectation is that). Teach your HS senior a life lesson.

Tell your LSU student to grab a seat as close to the front as possible so their name is called early, then you can haul arse over to the high school.

She resents me for sure. I can't miss the HS one and they said that it will be only 1 hour.

If her last name is Zylenski and the college is Zoology, you may make it.

Good luck!
