a team from Texas or California. I know that’s 7/16, but all seven teams have reached the WCF at least once. The Sonics defeated the Jazz in 7. If you add Chicago to the mix, it’s been since 1978 that the Conference Finals do not feature a team from California, Texas, or Chicago. Bonkers.

Just doesnt feel right. When i think of the nba i think of the major conglomerites like cali and texas. Sure, new york is one too. But nothing sports wise holds a candle to those 2. I love me some Lousiana and our Louisianamals, but cali and texas are leaps and bounds above the rest!

Aaron Judge is from California and is personally responsible for the teams from California being in the WC finals for all this time.

Obi Wan and Fightingtigers are closet Judge fans, aren’t they? It’s ok to come out to say that you know Greatness when you see it. A Judge DONG is good for the soul.

You do realize that 47% of the Western Conference is from California or Texas? Given there are two chances for at least one of these teams make the conference finals, the probability is 73.33% at least one makes it every year.

Given they have been historically good to great teams, the probability is higher.
