I feel like Super Club is something you should try once, but how is the food compared to others in this thread?

It’s cool to hate on Supper Club because it’s corny, but the food has been 10/10 every time we’ve gone.
My answer, however, is Mansurs. They have 5-8 fish varieties available every single day of the week - and interesting ones like triple tail and tile. Their menu has something for every palate, even if you’re “not a seafood person” or on the pickier side. The restaurant itself is nice without being stuffy or outdated. The bar is always lively if you don’t want “fancy” and just want good food. The wine list is decent to good, as are the cocktails.
Louisiana Lagniappe has always been good to me as well, but they only have drum available for all of their “fresh fish” dishes. At least, that’s what the server told us last visit when we asked what the fresh fish choices are.
At the price point, they really should at least have some other options considering so much of their menu items are “fresh fish” in some style. At least some redfish or something.

I should add that I pick Mansurs because of the well rounded aspect of it being always solid, consistent, and appealing to all people.
On a personal level, I think Umami, Cocha, Ruth’s, etc. are “better”. I just think the whole package Mansurs provides is what would make me pick it if I had to pick 1 “best”.

I assume they mean black drum?
