But that would not be clickbaity enough for an attention seeker

I specifically chose to be less snarky by using the word seeker, trying to be a better person

Edited to point out that the OP changed his title appropriately, and I owe him an apology.

If the bats do what they should, won’t need him in there too long anyway

I don’t think the guy with 2100 posts since 2014 is one of this board’s most egregious attention seekers

I was told by guys that pitched in 17 under that judging by his reaction his arm needed amputation.

Someone with 38,000 posts on TD accused me of being an attention seeker and click baity so I edited the title. Oh no...

because you don't want to throw your Friday pitcher off his routine right before the postseason

Also, if he's not hurt, why would you give him a week off? We need to lock in a top 8 seed. We need to win. Jay is going to coach to win.

Why would you get your Ace out of routine right before the most important pitches of the season? If he’s 100% healthy he might as well pitch. He’d be pitching anyway if he didn’t start. He’d just be doing bullpens keeping his arm ready.

Any guesses for Kade starting Thursday?

Jay pitched Paul and Gage Jump both on Thursday last SEC series the last two years.

I don't start many threads. I do interact in the game threads for most sports.

But I do see you edited, so I owe you an apology

Subsequent events and the fact you pointed out have led me to believe you are indeed correct, the op is not an attention seeker.

You need 2 of 3 this weekend to lock up a top 8 seed. This pitching staff is not good enough on the road in the SEC to sit the ace. (1 of 6 at Auburn and A&M with Anderson). South Carolina is still an SEC team playing with nothing to lose. All hands on deck.

We need to take at least 2 on the road to remove any doubt for a top 8 seed. That is more important than the SECT or anything else. If we rest or limit him, it should be then, not this weekend.
