Of course he was. All we needed to do was actually enforce the laws we have. Or, ya know......actually try to stop it.

Anyone with half a brain knows the comprehensive border bill Lankford and McConnell was really a Republican funding bill for Ukraine. If republicans were smart, they would have insisted on a real border bill, no exceptions, in exchange for short term funding for Ukraine, at that time.
We still need a border bill, to prevent future presidents from doing what demorats always do to destroy America.

Of course he was. People on this board screamed for years(correctly) the only thing that needed to be done was to enforce the laws already on the books. It was that simple. I wonder how many billions have already been saved as a direct result of the southern border right now.
