Crazy that the SEC has been so good this year that while we're number 1 going in to the last weekend of the regular season, we still haven't locked up a top 8 seed yet.

It’s wide open. There’s no clear consensus at the top outside of LSU being at #1 but our RPI is still only #7

ESPN use D1 rankings
LSU was #3 and Arkansas was #7 in the ESPN broadcasts this past week which was last weeks D1 polls

BigBro puts together some great graphics on the SECr for anyone that doesn’t wander over there
Florida has gone from 1-11 in the SEC to 12-13. They haven’t been in the top 25 since week 7 before returning to the polls this week and now have a shot at hosting a regional. Tennessee has imploded and lost out on a top 8 unless they win on the road against Arkansas (30-3 at home). A&M looked to have a postseason bid locked up after beating us then went and got swept by Mizzou

LSU unanimous #1 across the various polls this week.
ETA: going into the final week it’s so wide open that coaches poll has 7 different teams getting 1st place votes. Don’t think I’ve seen that yet even in the preseason polls

I agree. Hoping like hell we take 2 because we’ve got 3 teams on our tail, and finishing top 4 in the sec is on the line. With our rpi at 7, we cannot afford to lose the series at South Carolina.
