What job do you have? Hate it or love it?

Currently thinking about a possibility of switching industries/occupation in the future. What kind of job do you have and would you pursue it all over again (love it or hate it)?
Simply trying to brainstorm on possible fits and options that I may not have considered for a move one day.

Currently working in a chemical plant simply for the money, not a career option I believe for the long term. Worked in construction as an independent contractor and in the concrete business. Have a Masters from LSU in unrelated field (sprt management - was pursuing sport business at one point). I'm a young guy with his whole life ahead of him.

Nurse Anesthetist. 40+ years. Loved every minute. Great career choice. Got tired of the calls, and retired last July. Do relief work now. Love my time off more.

I finance energy products and do asset management for many of the projects i help finance.
I hate it when I’m doing big bank or pe firm transactions. Working with smaller investors and family shops is fine and far less stressful.

I’m a climbing arborist in Bend Oregon, averaging 50 hours a week in the sky.
I moved myself into this position, so of course, I love it.
My body has had enough about hour 45 but my mind wants more.
Get some.
ADD:
Work brings out the best in me @48 years old.
With this, I plan to live forever if I don’t kill myself with a chainsaw by accident.

25-50% of the fire service is folks in their mid to late 20s with these kinds of backgrounds. I’ve seen engineers, lawyers, nurses, etc leave their profession and come to the fire service. Probably closer to 25% though.

I retired in 2017. It was such a fun job. I miss the clowns, not the circus.
I now work at a retirement community, they have independent living, assisted living and a nursing home. Several hundred apartments and rooms. Over 150 acres of property. I run the campus and grounds department. It's pretty fun and I don't have to pay the retired health insurance premium which is 1700 per month. We take care of all the grass, flower beds, trees and sprinkler system and keep fish stocked. It's a pretty good gig and pays well on top of my retirement check each month.

Medical sales...RN by training...love the money and freedom, hate the grind...
Nursing was great but direct patient care will wear you out.

23+ years in sales. Was retired by my company a month and a half ago. Kids are set. Just me and the Mrs now. Starting with a non-profit fundraising gig a week from Monday. Looking forward to the change and dealing with a different set of folks. Hoping to do it for the next 9 and walk away and feel god about leaving something good behind for others.

If I could start over with what I know now I'd pursue pathology. Doctor money, hardly any direct patient care, less than bankers hours. Going back to school for an MD + the pathology residency is just not something I am up to at my age.
