Boston’s backs against the wall in a near must win.
Tatum has a wrist/thumb splint, Brown’s knee isn’t 100%, and Porzingis can’t play more than 10 minutes without the post viral lung syndrome flaring up. Tall task to win in NY.

TIL Porzingis has the syndrome

Boston is the better team but they are down in this series because the refs carried the Knicks, pushing them forward after the Lakers went out

And they are 33-8 on the road.

Breen called it a Boston three party.

Damn this looks like it'll be a "check back late in the 4th for signs of life" kind of game

One of the best road records in NBA history.

Celtics are about to win 4 straight I can see it now. This is how games 1 and 2 should have been

Refs bailed out the Knicks. NY and BOS are the only 2 big market east coast teams left full of a bunch of smaller market teams so given the choice between the two the NBA wants NY

The Cs are thin right now with Porzingis not being able to play his typical minutes and Hauser being out. They got to the 4th those first two games and looked spent on both sides of the ball.
If Porzingis can keep increasing his minute load that bodes well. Tonight was his series high at 19 minutes.

Boston shot 48-50-88… can they do that three more times?

They might have one or two more games with hot shooting like that. They win comfortably tonight even if they shoot 40% from three.
I think the better question is can New York get hot in the 4th quarter two more times while Boston only scores in the teens like the first two games?
