In DVH playbook, no arm is burned. Especially with winning the SEC in reach. He’s showed that his entire career.

You don’t know DVH the guy wrecks arms. The crying some did here about the one time Jay let Kade throw a ton is child’s play with DVH.

To put this into perspective, last year McIntyre threw 62 pitches in game 1 and DVH put him to pitch again on game 3 for 24 pitches.

He wins the sec and gets high seeds but feel like he is doing it by doing things like letting a guy throw 60 then take a day and throw another 25-30.
He isn’t tinkering like other coaches to our guys in positions to see how they react. I’m cool with not winning the sec if it means we dropped a game or two along the way because we were bringing guys along for the post season run.

This year’s team is impressive.
#1 in SEC BA
#4 in SEC ERA
#1 in SEC fielding %
#3 in SEC HR (#2 because TN # has an asterisk with their high school park)

Gaekle and Cowan could both throw an inning or so on Sunday no problem.
