Meanwhile, we have states exempting sports players from paying taxes on millions of dollars in NIL.

Why not just quit giving them money if they have huge endowments?

Can you please explain why wealthy colleges that earn a fortune every year shouldn’t have to pay similar taxes on their earnings than a private business or corporation?

The pace with which some are embracing tax increases is astonishing.

This isn’t the republicans party of Bush and corporations. It is a working class party now. The establishment will either adjust or get destroyed in elections now that Trump isn’t on the ticket.

It’s about fairness.

Why should an extremely wealthy investor (Harvard) only pay a 1% tax?

Okay. Sure. But let’s not pick winners and losers.

Let’s tax anything and anyone sitting on a large stack, St Jude foundation, YMCA foundation, Catholic Church, and Elon Musk; everything and everyone.

Let’s also eliminate the deductions for charitable contributions.

A public entity creating a separate legal entity is not enough to make that not a public entity in any way but through technical loophole.
