LSU’s highest rated player in football preseason and LSU absolutely wasted their talent???

I would have to say it’s definitely Leonard Fournette and grass eater absolutely wasted his talent with his bonehead OC hires and play calling, clock management issues etc. We should have won a natty with him.

I know Fournette was 5th overall, but how did that help LSU? Dude was # 1 player in the country for his class.

He should have left him as a receiver and maybe he wouldn’t have gotten shut down by Bama or use him for both. Les wasn’t creative enough for that though.

I immediately thought of Danielle Hunter. Had very little production here under Chief, but obviously is an elite player. Wasted.

It was amazing that Fournette was the best that came through here sans Guice for about a generation, maybe more. That lasted all of about 3 years till a guy named Joe stepped on the field.
