I know a lot of Prevosts around Crowley area. Pronounced Pree vow as in show or low

I knew a lot of Provosts but no Prevosts. And, BTW, I had a dorm mate from Crowley while at Centenary. The only guy there who was a Gent in HS and then a Gent in college.

It's actually pronounced "Pray-vow", so yes, to confirm, he is Cajun

I read that his father was of French and Italian descent so he could have very well been Cajun but I haven't seen any mention of a Louisiana connection.
