Got the idea from a friend who was in his 80's. He had PERFECT posture. He told me his secret. 30 years ago a PT told him to stand against a wall for 5 minutes every day. Heels, butt, hands, head all touching the wall at the same time. Said that was why it was perfect.

Tried it today. Damn. I could only hold it for a little more than two minutes although it might not have been fatigue but listening to Moscona on Youtube. Tells me I need to keep doing it til I get to five minutes.

As someone who sits at a desk all day, I'll def be trying it more often.

How long did you make it?

He would also shave while standing on one leg to work on balance. Sicker was snow skiing at age 83.

I was too bored after 3 minutes. It was uncomfortable and I'm sure I need it though.

Very interesting. I have scoliosis, so I will never have perfect posture, but this will be added to the morning routine.

I did 5 minutes today, 3-4 the previous 2 days. For hands, just hanging down but palms against the wall?

Yup. hands or palms against wall. You want feet, butt, hands, head against wall.

PTs have videos on Youtube about it.
