Pakistani J-10Cs using PL-15 Air-to-Air Missiles shot down 5 Indian Fighter Jets

If the reporting is accurate that seems like a big win for China and their defense industry. Is India Incompetent or is the equipment to blame? I know alot of people joke about China making Temu planes but it seems like the French might be the ones making subpar fighter jets

According to wikipedia the vast majority of the Indian Air Force's aircraft are Russian made. It appears that it is your beloved Russians who are making inferior stuff. Which is not surprising since all the Russians can do well is play chess, drink, and tell lies.

1) i highly doubt either the Chinese jets nor the French jets had they Best avionics and Air-to-air missiles due to export restrictions
2) Pilot training and platform use are likely mostly to blame
3) it is easier to defend your airspace, knowing you have ground air defenses and radar systems to rely on vs being the attacker and having to fly into a hot area.

Nah bud - Its an image from a tail section of a Mig 29 that crashed during a training exercise in 2024.
Notice how none of these news stories have actual sources, its either he said/she said or some anonymous source tells CNN. Sounds like propaganda.

I think the Indians want to throw in the towel and go back to the way it was. Too bad though the Indians didn't have our stuff. It would be nice to see Chinese versus US technology.
