Krempin had logged a trip to LSU back in the fall, too, but the Tigers weren’t always high up on his list. That changed earlier this year, thanks to touted offensive line coach Brad Davis.
“I was there for the Alabama game and camp before that. LSU was not really on my list until coach Davis did an in-home visit me in January. That visit really opened the door. It opened my eyes,” Krempin told On3’s Chad Simmons in February. “Talking to coach Davis, hearing what he had to say put LSU back in it. My dad grew up in Louisiana, so I liked LSU as a kid too.”
Now, LSU is battling the in-state powers in Texas, Texas A&M and SMU. Michigan is another program that has had its foot on the gas. Pulling Krempin out of the Lone Star State won’t be easy, but LSU has made a habit of doing just that in recent cycles.
Krempin is the No. 218 overall prospect and No. 16 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 29 player in Texas.

Really like this kid, think he’s under rated. Would be a great pickup.

Or there's a 6'5" 290 lb All-State OT in Blaise Thomassie at Catholic High in BR.

What position on the Ol is he projected to play at?
Weight listed may be inaccurate, but 255 seems a bit light for IOL.

Prosper offense isn't conducive to LSU either. He will be a 2 year project.

That’s an awesome name Zaden Krempin

Or, now get this, there’s more than one position on the oline and we should probably recruit a couple of them.

SMU might have $$$, but has zero chance to win a national championship.

All 5 Starting OL at Prosper have P4 offers, pretty wild at the high school level.

I think with NIL and the Portal SMU could be a playoff team. They have a ways to go to get big enough play with the Top 10, but if they get an elite QB and can score they can beat anyone.

Their stadium is bigger than some college stadiums. Real deal program

I’d like to jump back to my SMU NIL comments after this flip. The times are different now gentlemen. They go grab some players and keep recruiting the Dallas area and they’ll be in the mix of the ACC.

He’s built like Ethan Pocic. Could definitely see him being in the NFL for a long time
