I read an article where RFK Jr was talking about an app called YUKA where you scan products or food or pretty much anything you put into or onto your body.

I decided to download and install it and I am blown away. The lotion I have used for years had a 0/100 Poor Score.. the soap I use had a 79/100 Good score- then I went into my pantry searching for things and holy shite - everything in there had very poor scores. Yea.. I knew I ate like shite (even though I am not fat and overweight) but this was an eye opener

I’m just amazed that RFK is promoting this and next time I go grocery shopping, I’ll spot check items to see if it’s actually ok or if I am buying poison

For iPhone users: IPhone App Info

Sorry, I don’t have an Android so I am not sure the link to download and install it

I highly recommend checking it out- it might save your life one day!

* food and other companies are going to hate this app and they will probably do everything in their power to get it removed from the app stores

You can scan the stuff already in your home. It goes off the bal code. We have been using it a while. It can really open your eyes.

Yeah! You can scan anything from food to toiletries to cosmetics. We’ve changed a lot stuff we typically bought.

Saved a couple hundred bucks using it while shopping. I put a lot of junk back. I really like the alternatives it offers too.

App is trash...they still rate things with vegetable/seed oils as healthy. Suggested that they change their stance and they were never really interested. Try the Seed Oil Food Scanner app. Either way, you don't need an app to know that most food in the US is ultra-processed and contains all kinds of chemicals. For the most part, cutting out sugars and corn syrup along with seed oils is generally the best you can do for your health.

I buy 1/2 a cow, garden vegetables and make homemade sourdough bread on a busy schedule. Keep it simple and if you want to be healthy, then spend some time on it. Food companies are convenient and are making money for that convenience. They don't have our health at the forefront.

Love this app. Been using it for about 6 months and it has totally changed how I eat and the hygiene products I use. Truly sickening to see all the shite they put in our food. Even in food you "think" is healthy there could be 5 additives that are banned in Europe. I probably look like a psycho in the store while I scan every item I put in the basket but honestly who cares? If I can reduce my entire family's cancer risk and risk for chronic disease I am all for it. Also, for now if you donate like $10 a year you can get the premium version where you can search for items. If not the only way you can see an item's breakdown and score is if you scan the barcode. It will also give you a top 10 list of certain food and beauty products. It is definitely a game changer.

You can find them ranked on sites all over...however just use olive and avocado oils, which are agreed to be the only ones to be used. Heart disease generally took off around the time these oils started being used widely. Its not the saturated fats in meat that are doing us wrong.
