I have a theory out there that Kemp may have been doing precisely what Trump & the patriots told him to do after the death of Harrison Deal hit way too close to home in Dec. 2020.
Besides, Kemp was still invited to the WH Christmas party well after the race was "called" for Biden. That's a weird move for someone who just stabbed your campaign in the back.
With the exception of his handling of the 2020 election (by not calling a special session of the General Assembly, which was his only actionable move - everything else was up to Raffensperger as SoS), Kemp's record has been full on MAGA. Granted, that's a helluva outlier and one that was determinative in its impact but by all accounts we needed the nation to see just how bad - how genuinely retarded - progressive liberals could frick over this country in a record amount of time.
We may never get confirmation one way or another, but there's a case to be made that Kemp was told to stand down and let them keep on with the steal.

Kemp sucks, he’s like a 60 year old version of Mitch McConnell, but he’ll get you what you want 50% of the time as opposed to Ossoff who will get you what you want 0% of the time.
